- In October of 2007 I began a new life of photo adventure tours and ham radio operation in the Republic of Panama. My faithful dog Blue came with me and is a great companion. 2 local dogs, Rosie and Athena, joined us. We lost Rosie after 3 wonderful years of love and laughter. Athena went out quietly in January this year. The two new members of the Amigos Pack are Luna and Sol, both Yellow Lab mixes who came here in March and July 2012. It is beautiful and peaceful here in the mountains of western Panama. Days are 75-80 F, and nights 55-65 all year. Truly Paradise on a shoestring ...
